FIRST TRIMESTER DATING AND REASSURANCE SCAN [6- 15 weeks]
This scan assesses:

The location of the pregnancy
-
Viability by visualisation of the heart beat
-
Dating by measuring the crown rump length (CRL) of the embryo
-
Single or multiple pregnancy
At the end of the scan you get

3 black and white thermal prints for keepsake

A detailed printed ultrasound report

A free follow up scan if needed

This scan can be performed either externally (transabdominal), in which case a full urinary bladder is needed (drink water 30 minutes before the scans and do not empty your bladder), or internally (transvaginal) with an empty urinary bladder. This internal scan is highly recommended because it offers better visibility.
FETAL WELL BEING AND GENDER SCAN
[15 - 38 WEEKS]
This is a 30 minute scan appointment
5-10 minutes 2D scan
